Job Description
As a Project Coordinator (EIT) at ITI, you’ll play a hands-on role supporting the delivery of critical power projects across our business. This is a permanent, full-time position with a blend of office, shop, and field exposure, based in Vancouver or Saanichton, BC (with occasional travel for field work as needed).
You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement, fabrication, and field teams to help keep projects moving from planning through execution. This role is ideal for someone who’s organized, curious, and ready to learn fast in a real-world environment.
What you’ll work on may include:
– Coordinating schedules, procurement, and project documentation
– Supporting budget development, tracking, and basic cost analysis
– Assisting with detailed design support and drawing/document updates
– Helping prepare estimates, proposals, and tender/bid review support
– Contributing to technical reports, project closeout, and process improvements
– Supporting retrofit installations and field activities when required
You’ll gain broad exposure to how electrical projects come together end-to-end and build the core skills that set up a strong long-term career path in project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related) and eligible for registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent problem-solving, organization, and time management skills
- Collaborative team player who works well in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD (or the ability to learn quickly)
- Hands-on or field experience is considered an asset
